expected to provide a strong Research and Development opportunity
for Bahraini universities. The project marks the first step in a plan

Qatar
, Qatar Solar Technologies and Gasal QSC have signed a
long- term hydrogen and nitrogen supply agreement. The agreement
states that Gasal will invest into multiple high- purity hydrogen
production units and extend and connect Qatar Solar Technologies
to its industrial gas pipeline system in Ras Laffan Industrial City for
nitrogen.Air Liquid Engineering will design and built the units, which
will be commissioned and operated by Gasal through an extension
of its pipeline system in Ras Laffan

Kuwait
, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and Kuwait
Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) signed a contract to execute
the second stage of a solar energy project costing KD 1.5 million

The project aims to promote solar energy applications in electricity
generating, the first stage of the project, concerned with studies and
research, showed that solar energy bears a great promise as the best
source of energy in Kuwait. The project is planned within the three
